After 7 years of amazing owned the first label MARLAN RTW, our Creative Director decided to create a mini version MINI MARLAN (we can call it MIMA), to bring back classic and quality clothes to a new generation of children. From her eyes, been designing and the love of european kids’ style, MINI MARLAN spotted a gap in the market for affordable children clothing with a traditional and smart design.
MINI MARLAN is a Jakarta based brand, whose clothing is made of small local business and in house producing use the high quality materials. Their manufacturing processes are closely monitored to ensure all clothing is being produced in a fair and ethical way.
The Founder
MIMA’s inspiration comes from her own daughter, Nicola. “I always love to design baby and kids clothing since then, loving of delicate lace and baby printing such an impossible to make for the adult one, so this imagination brings me to do the baby one.” This nostalgic inspiration is evident in the designs that she offers at Mima– timeless and smart styles.
Mima’s aim is to keep the essence of timeless clothing for young boys and girls….“We enjoy seeing our children look like children”.She gets great joy out of dressing children from all around the world with irresistible clothing. And yet, her clothing is just the tangible expression of something much greater, as she is bringing back the heritage of traditional childrenswear.
